🎯 Kingshot Beginner’s Guide (Part 6): Alliance Politics, Territory Positioning & Surviving Without Conflict

🎯 Kingshot Beginner’s Guide (Part 6): Alliance Politics, Territory Positioning & Surviving Without Conflict

✍️ Intro

Power means nothing if you’re wiped out before the war even begins.
In this post, we’ll talk about a less glamorous but essential part of Kingshot:
Where you place your castle, who you join, and how to avoid unnecessary conflict.
If you want to grow safely and stay relevant, this is for you.

[16] Choose the Right Alliance – It’s Not Just About Ranking

Joining a top 3 alliance is great —
but you also need one with clear leadership, structured territory, and active R4s.

✅ What to look for:

  • Daily rallies & organized events

  • Active help system (tech/gift boxes)

  • Friendly timezone match (so you don’t miss events)

  • Clear rules about war/NAP/territory

⛔ Avoid:

  • Drama-heavy alliances

  • Alliances that constantly war with everyone

  • Alliances with no direction or inactive leaders

👉 Pro Tip: Don’t just join power — join stability.

[17] Territory = Buffs, Speed, Safety

Where you place your castle is everything.

💡 Ideal placement:

  • Inside alliance tile zone for all territory bonuses

  • Close to main fortress or rally leaders for faster support

  • In the zone that gets Shrine/Relic buffs

🌀 Don’t be outside the zone unless your alliance has a strategic reason

👉 Pro Tip: Use your Alliance Teleport to relocate when needed.
Don’t wait till war breaks out — move early and stay covered.

[18] Learn to Survive – Even Without Power

Not everyone will dominate — but everyone can survive smart.

✅ Tips for staying safe:

  • Stay inside alliance territory

  • Always bubble during volatile events (like All Out)

  • Watch kingdom chat for drama — and avoid it

  • Keep your resources in inventory unless you’re about to use them

  • Don’t provoke whales unless you’re ready to burn

👑 Remember: Surviving = Progressing. If your army is intact, you can always bounce back.

In Part 7, we’ll dive into troop types, formations,
and how to build a balanced army that works with your heroes.
Let’s get into the real battle prep soon, Lords!

🎯 Kingshot Beginner’s Guide (Part 3): Best Heroes to Focus On & How Rally Buffs Really Work

🎯 Kingshot Beginner’s Guide (Part 3): Best Heroes to Focus On & How Rally Buffs Really Work

✍️ Intro

Welcome back to the Ten x Won guide series!
In Part 2, we talked about rushing your Town Center and winning short-term events.
Today, let’s get into one of the most confusing (but important) topics: Heroes.
We’ll cover which ones to focus on, how their skills work, and how rally buffs are applied.

[6] You Can’t Raise Everyone – Choose Your Heroes Wisely

In Kingshot, you can’t upgrade every hero — especially if you’re F2P or low spender.
So you need to prioritize, and that means choosing heroes based on function and synergy.

🔍 Hero Types:

  • R heroes (green) = Gathering & Production

  • SR heroes (blue) = Budget-friendly combat units

  • SSR heroes (purple) = Stronger stats + exclusive gear, but harder to build

🎯 For early game, focus on:

  • Chenco (Siege)

  • Gordon or Howard (Defense)

  • Diana (Mobility & Beast Hunting)

👉 Pro Tip: Your goal is to get SR heroes to 4★ and level their 1st skill to Lv.5.
That’s the best cost-efficiency zone for low spenders.

[7] Skill Slots Matter – Don’t Ignore the Icons

Every hero has two skill sets:

  • Left-side skills = PvP & Arena

  • Right-side skills = Marches, defense, rallies, and beast hunting

🎯 Use left-side skills for:

  • Arena (PvP vs players)

🎯 Use right-side skills for:

  • Field combat, rallies, and defending your castle

👉 Pro Tip: Rally buffs only apply based on very specific rules. So read on...

[8] Rally Buffs Explained (No, It’s Not All Shared)

Rally mechanics in Kingshot are unique.
Here’s how buffs are actually applied in a rally:

⚔️ Rally Leader (Host):

  • Their Lord gear, Hero gear, and Hero skills (ALL 3 heroes) apply to the whole rally

  • That’s why whales should host rallies

🧙 Rally Members:

  • Only their 1st hero’s 1st skill applies (and only if it's high-level)

  • Among all rally members, the 4 highest-level 1st skills are chosen to apply

⛔ Their gear & other skills don’t affect the whole rally — just their own personal stats

👉 Pro Tip: As a rally member, your most important job is to:

  • Use a strong SR hero (4★)

  • Max out their 1st skill (Lv.5)

  • Bring high-tier troops

That's all you can realistically do as a low spender — and it still matters!

In Part 4, we’ll cover VIP & Diamonds usage,
how to build toward your first roulette hero,
and what’s really worth buying as a low spender. Don’t miss it!

🎯 Kingshot Beginner’s Guide (Part 2): Rush Your Town Center & Dominate Short-Term Events

🎯 Kingshot Beginner’s Guide (Part 2): Rush Your Town Center & Dominate Short-Term Events

✍️ Intro

Welcome back to the Ten x Won beginner guide series!
In Part 1, we shared 3 must-know tips for casual players.
Today, we’re diving into why rushing your Town Center (TC) is a must,
and how to win short-term events even without spending a lot.

[4] Rush Your Town Center – Don’t Get Left Behind

In Kingshot, your Town Center level decides your entire potential.
The higher your TC, the faster you unlock better troops, tech, and buildings.

Why rushing TC matters:

  • Higher TC = Unlock higher troop tiers

  • Stronger troops = better beast rallies, better PvP performance

  • You don’t want to be stuck training Tier 3 while others are dropping Tier 5

🛠️ Upgrade priorities:

  1. Town Center first

  2. Then build the requirements for next TC upgrade

  3. Save speedups for TC, not for minor buildings

👉 Pro Tip: Your real power spike comes from TC + tier unlocks, not cosmetic upgrades.

[5] Win Short-Term Events — Pick Your Moment

Let’s be real: you can’t win “Strongest Lord” against whales.
But! You can still win short-term 2-day events that give massive gem rewards.

💎 Events you can aim to win:

  • Overnight Worker (build/research speedup event)

  • Tech Development (research-focused)

  • Hero Growth (use saved fragments)

  • Beast Hunting (save stamina + meat)

🧠 Strategy:

  • Track score thresholds for 1st place

  • Don’t waste speedups — save and burst on event day

  • Time your upgrades around event windows

  • Finish big upgrades just before event ends to snipe 1st place

👉 Pro Tip: I once saved 100+ hours of speedups and won 50k gems with perfect timing.

✅ Coming Up Next:

In Part 3, we’ll talk about which heroes to focus on,
how skill slots and rally mechanics actually work, and
how to avoid wasting fragments early. Stay tuned, Lords!

🎯 Kingshot Beginner’s Guide (Part 5): Building Priorities, Resource Management & Event Timing

🎯 Kingshot Beginner’s Guide (Part 5): Building Priorities, Resource Management & Event Timing

✍️ Intro

Welcome back, Lords!
So far, we’ve covered heroes, VIP, diamonds, and more — but none of that matters if you’re not upgrading smart.
In this post, let’s go back to basics:
What to build first, how to protect your resources, and why timing is everything.

[13] Not All Buildings Are Equal – Upgrade Smart

Here’s your building priority list (especially early game):

  1. Town Center (always #1)

  2. Prerequisites for TC (upgrade just enough to unlock next TC)

  3. Academy (for speed and tech progression)

  4. Troop buildings (Barracks, Range, Stable — for Tier unlocks)

  5. Infirmaries (to reduce troop losses during events)

  6. Warehouse (to protect your stash from raids)

⛔ Don’t waste time maxing out everything at once. Focus on what matters.

[14] Resource Management = Survival

You don’t need to spend real money to have resources —
you just need to be smart and consistent.

✅ Best practices:

  • Gather daily with all available marches

  • Use your inventory ONLY when needed (it’s safe from raids)

  • Consider building a farm account if you’re serious about speedbuilding

  • Always have something building / researching / training

👉 Pro Tip: High-level Town Centers and research cost tons of resources — plan ahead or you’ll get stuck.

[15] Events = Free Value – But Only If You Time It Right

Most players waste speedups by upgrading at random.
Don’t be that player.

📅 Key tips:

  • Save upgrades for event windows (ex: Overnight Worker, Tech Development)

  • Don’t rush — track how many points you need for top rewards

  • Time your final speedups to snipe leaderboard ranks near event end

  • Stack personal + alliance missions to double dip rewards

👉 Pro Tip: I saved 100 hours of speedups, planned for 2 events, and came out with 60k diamonds in rewards.

✅ Coming Up Next:

In Part 6, we’ll dive into alliance politics, territory positioning,
and how to avoid drama while staying competitive.
It’s not just about power — it’s about where and how you play. Stay sharp, Lords!

🎯 Kingshot Beginner’s Guide (Part 4): Diamond Priorities, VIP Goals & Building Toward Your First Roulette Hero

🎯 Kingshot Beginner’s Guide (Part 4): Diamond Priorities, VIP Goals & Building Toward Your First Roulette Hero

✍️ Intro

Welcome back, Lords!
In this post, we’re tackling the topic that every F2P or low spender asks at some point:
“How should I spend my diamonds?”
From VIP perks to roulette timing, here’s how to make every gem count.

[9] Reach VIP 4 First – No Debates

Why VIP 4?

  • +10% Construction Speed (huge boost for TC rush)

  • Daily free item refresh

  • Affordable for most low spenders (or via login + alliance shop)

What about VIP 6, 8, or 9?

  • VIP 6 = extra march slot

  • VIP 8 = double march preset

  • VIP 9 = +20% construction (but VERY expensive)

👉 Pro Tip: VIP 4 is the best ROI.
After that, save your diamonds for roulette.

[10] Diamonds = Power – But Only If You Use Them Right

Things NOT to waste diamonds on:

  • Speedups (except during ranked events)

  • Random refreshes

  • Gathering boosts (you don’t need them if you’re consistent)

✅ Use diamonds on:

  • VIP points (only until VIP 4)

  • Roulette pulls for next-gen heroes

  • Rare teleporters (for war or territory fights)

  • Emergency shields

  • Alliance donations for weekly diamond rewards

[11] Save for Your First Roulette Hero – This is Long-Term Value

Each generation has 1 roulette-exclusive hero.
These are meta-defining and cost a LOT to build.

How it works:

  • One roulette = 120 spins (usually costs 16k–18k diamonds)

  • 3 full roulettes = 4★ hero (minimum for skill investment)

💡 My strategy:

  • Save 50k–60k diamonds before spinning

  • Only spin when you can complete a full cycle

  • Don’t chase every hero — pick ONE per generation

👉 Pro Tip: Skipping one generation lets you fully build the next one.

[12] Which Packages Are Worth It? (If You Buy Any)

For low spenders, these are actually good deals:

PackageWhy it’s worth it
Monthly CardDaily diamonds, VIP points, meat = best overall value
Growth Fund (One-time)Huge gem returns as you level up
Speedup Packs (only during events)Can win 50k+ diamonds back
Gear Weekly PackEssential for long-term hero power, if you’re ready

❌ Avoid:

  • Pure gem packs (low ROI)

  • Cosmetic-only offers

✅ Coming Up Next:

In Part 5, we’ll break down which building upgrades are most important,
how to manage resource spending efficiently,
and why event timing is everything in Kingshot!

🎯 Kingshot Beginner’s Guide (Part 1): 3 Must-Know Tips for Casual Players

 🎯 Kingshot Beginner’s Guide (Part 1): 3 Must-Know Tips for Casual Players

Welcome to the first post in our Kingshot beginner guide series!
I’m a Generation 1 player and a casual spender. After playing for weeks and running a community, I’ve picked up solid tips that helped me grow smart without heavy spending.
Here are 3 essential lessons every new Lord should know:

[1] Unlock Extra Build Queue & March Slot First – It’s Mandatory

I had to make every upgrade count.
Unlocking the second build queue and at least one extra march slot is absolutely essential — no excuses.

  • The extra build queue speeds everything up dramatically.

  • The march slot lets you gather more resources and multitask like a boss.

👉 Pro Tip: Even if you’re saving money, these two upgrades are 100% worth it. They’re game-changing for early progression.

[2] Join the Top Alliance – No Debates Here

I can’t stress this enough — if you want to grow fast, get into the top 1–3 alliance ASAP.

Why?

  • Daily gift boxes = speedups, gems, and resources

  • Shrine & relic buffs like +13% build speed

  • Strong rallies = better beast rewards, even if your gear sucks

  • Safe during “All Out” events — low-tier alliances get farmed

Even as a small spender, joining a strong alliance gave me massive value.
Can’t get in yet? Level up your power and try again soon.

⚠️ Warning: Mid-tier alliances (rank 8–9) are risky. If they drop to rank 11, you’re likely to get attacked.

[3] Resource Gathering Is Enough (If You’re Patient)

You don’t need to raid others for resources early on.
Just send out your marches every day and gather steadily.

  • Your inventory stash is safe — use only what you need.

  • For long-term play, creating a farm account can help.

  • If you plan to speedbuild heavily, then you’ll need a lot more resources.

  • (And yeah… if needed, raiding weak players might become an option later.)

👉 Pro Tip: Daily gathering missions = underrated but consistent growth.
